South Knoxville Detour

The Henley Street Bridge has been closed for renovations that are planned to last thru 2012. The official detour is thru James White Parkway, and it works quite well. The Gay street bridge remains open, but it can get hectic during heavy traffic hours. The two main access roads to James White Parkway are I-40 and Neyland Drive. Below are some directions, but don't hesitate to give us a call at phone # 865-573-6458 if you have any questions. Beware of Mapquest, and Google directions. They may try to direct you thru the closed Henley Street Bridge.

From Neyland Drive

• From Thompson Boling Arena
• Go East on Neyland Drive, past Calhouns Restaurant
• Take Exit James White Parkway. 71 South………. 2.0 mi
• Turn Right onto Sevierville Pike/Moody Ave. …………………………. 0.6 mi
• Turn Left onto Chapman Hwy. US 441 South.
• IMMEDIATE Right onto Chapman Village Shopping Center

From I-40

• From I-40 take Exit 388A.
• Follow James White Parkway / 71 South signs……. 3.0 mi
• Turn Right onto Sevierville Pike/Moody Ave. …….. 0.6 mi
• Turn Left onto Chapman Hwy. US 441 South
• IMMEDIATE Right onto Chapman Village Shopping Center
